Hadith 2079
أَخْبَرَنَا شَبَّابُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَال : كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَمَنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ ، وَأَصَابَنَا مَطَرٌ لَمْ يَبُلَّ أَسَافِلَ نِعَالِنَا ، فَنَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنْ صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ " .
Abu Mulaikh narrates from his father: During the time of Hudaybiyyah, we were with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Rain fell upon us, but it was such that even the underside of our shoes did not get wet. However, a caller from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) announced: "Perform your prayer at your place of residence."
