Hadith 2055
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ هِلالِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " صَلاةُ الرَّجُلِ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ تَزِيدُ عَلَى صَلاتِهِ وَحْدَهُ بِخَمْسٍ وَعِشْرِينَ دَرَجَةً ، فَإِنْ صَلاهُ بِأَرْضِ قَيٍّ فَأَتَمَّ رُكُوعَهَا وَسُجُودَهَا بَلَغَتْ صَلاتُهُ بِخَمْسِينَ دَرَجَةً " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man's prayer performed with the congregation is twenty-five (25) degrees superior to his prayer performed alone, and if he offers prayer in a deserted place, performing the bowing and prostration completely, then his prayer reaches up to fifty degrees."
