Hadith 2054
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " صَلاةُ الْجَمَاعَةِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلاةِ الْفَذِّ بِسَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ دَرَجَةً " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Offering prayer in congregation has twenty-seven degrees more excellence than offering prayer alone."
