Hadith 2049
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلالٍ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا حُمَيْدٍ ، وَأَبَا أُسَيْدٍ ، يَقُولانِ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَلْيَقُلِ : اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ ، وَإِذَا خَرَجَ فَلْيَقُلِ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Humayd Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) or perhaps Sayyiduna Abu Usayd Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person comes to the mosque, he should recite: 'O Allah! Open for me the doors of Your mercy.' And when he goes out, he should recite: 'O Allah! I ask You for Your bounty.'"
