Hadith 2018
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْحَجَبِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خَصْلَتَانِ لا يُحْصِيهِمَا عَبْدٌ إِلا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ ، وَهُمَا يَسِيرً وَمَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِهِمَا قَلِيلٌ : يُسَبِّحُ اللَّهَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي دُبُرُ كُلُّ صَلاةٍ عَشْرًا ، وَيُحَمِّدُهُ عَشْرًا ، وَيُكَبِّرُهُ عَشْرًا ، فَتِلْكَ خَمْسُونَ وَمِائَةٌ بِاللِّسَانِ ، وَأَلْفٌ وَخَمْسُ مِائَةٍ فِي الْمِيزَانِ . وَإِذَا أَوَى إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ يُسَبِّحُ ثَلاثًا وَثَلاثِينَ ، وَيُحَمِّدُ ثَلاثًا وَثَلاثِينَ ، وَيُكَبِّرُ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلاثِينَ ، فَتِلْكَ مِائَةٌ بِاللِّسَانِ ، وَأَلْفٌ فِي الْمِيزَانِ " ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَأَيُّكُمْ يَعْمَلُ فِي يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ أَلْفَيْنِ وَخَمْسَ مِائَةِ سَيِّئَةٍ ؟ " . قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو : وَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَعْقِدُهُنَّ بِيَدِهِ . قَالَ : فَقِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، وَكَيْفَ لا يُحْصِيهَا ؟ قَالَ : " يَأْتِي أَحَدَكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ ، وَهُوَ فِي صَلاتِهِ ، فَيَقُولُ : اذْكُرْ كَذَا ، اذْكُرْ كَذَا ، وَيَأْتِيهِ عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ فَيُنَوِّمُهُ " . قَالَ حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ : كَانَ أَيُّوبُ حَدَّثَنَا ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ ، فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ عَطَاءٌ الْبَصْرَةَ ، قَالَ لَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، قَدْ قَدِمَ صَاحِبُ حَدِيثِ التَّسْبِيحِ ، فَاذْهَبُوا فَاسْمَعُوهُ مِنْهُ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are two qualities; whoever adopts them will enter Paradise. Both are easy, but those who act upon them are few. One is that if a person recites Subhan Allah ten times, Alhamdulillah ten times, and Allahu Akbar ten times after each prayer, then (in a day and night) according to what is recited by the tongue, it will be one hundred and fifty, and on the scale it will be one thousand five hundred. (The second habit is), when a person goes to his bed, he should recite Subhan Allah thirty-three times, Alhamdulillah thirty-three times, and Allahu Akbar thirty-four times; so according to what is recited by the tongue, it will be one hundred, and on the scale it will be one thousand." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Which one of you commits two thousand five hundred sins daily?" Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) states: I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) counting them with his blessed hand. The narrator states: It was asked: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Why would anyone not act upon both of these? The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Satan comes to one of you while he is praying and says, 'Remember such-and-such, remember such-and-such,' and when a person is about to sleep, Satan comes to him and puts him to sleep." Hammad bin Zaid narrated this; Ayyub narrated this hadith to us from Ata bin Saib. When Ata came to Basra, Ayyub said to us: "The person who narrates the hadith about tasbih has arrived. Go and listen to it from him."
