Hadith 2014
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ الْفُقَرَاءُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالُوا : ذَهَبَ أَهْلُ الدُّثُورِ مِنَ الأَمْوَالِ بِالدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى وَالنَّعِيمِ الْمُقِيمِ ، يُصَلُّونَ كَمَا نُصَلِّي ، وَيَصُومُونَ كَمَا نَصُومُ ، وَلَهُمْ فُضُولُ أَمْوَالٍ يَحُجُّونَ بِهَا وَيَعْتَمِرُونَ وَيُجَاهِدُونَ وَيَتَصَدَّقُونَ . قَالَ : " أَفَلا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى أَمْرٍ إِنْ أَخَذْتُمْ بِهِ أَدْرَكْتُمْ مَنْ سَبَقَكُمْ ، وَلَمْ يُدْرِكْكُمْ أَحَدٌ بَعْدَكُمْ ، وَكُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ مَنْ أَنْتُمْ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَيْهِ إِلا أَحَدٌ عَمِلَ بِمِثْلِ أَعْمَالِكُمْ ؟ تُسَبِّحُونَ ، وَتُحَمِّدُونَ ، وَتُكَبِّرُونَ خَلْفَ كُلِّ صَلاةٍ ثَلاثًا وَثَلاثِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The poor people came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: The wealthy people have attained high ranks and everlasting blessings because they pray as we pray, they fast as we fast, but they have extra wealth with which they perform Hajj and Umrah, participate in Jihad, and give charity and alms. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Shall I not guide you to something, if you adopt it, you will reach those who have surpassed you, and no one behind you will be able to catch up with you, and among all people you will be the best, except for the one who does the same as you? After every prayer, recite Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar thirty-three times each.
