أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ ، يَخْطُبُ عَلَى هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَلَّمَ فِي دُبُرِ الصَّلاةِ يَقُولُ : " لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ ، لا نَعْبُدُ إِلا إِيَّاهُ ، أَهْلُ النِّعْمَةِ وَالْفَضْلِ ، وَالثَّنَاءِ الْحَسَنِ ، لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ " .
Abu Zubair narrates: I heard Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with them both) delivering a sermon on this pulpit. He said that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to recite this supplication after concluding the prayer: "There is no deity except Allah, we worship Him alone. He is worthy of blessings, grace, and good praise. There is no deity except Allah, we make our religion sincere for Him, even if the disbelievers dislike it."
