Hadith 2007
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ وَرَّادًا ، كاتب المغيرة يُحَدِّثُ ، أَنَّ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ ، كَتَبَ إِلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا قَضَى صَلاتَهُ ، فَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ، اللَّهُمَّ لا مَانِعَ لَمَّا أَعْطَيْتَ ، وَلا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ ، وَلا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ " . أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ فِي عَقِبِهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُخَيْمِرَةَ ، عَنْ وَرَّادٍ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ .
Warrad, who was the secretary of Sayyiduna Mughirah (may Allah be pleased with him), narrates: Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote in a letter to Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him): When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) completed the prayer and said salam, he used to recite: "There is no deity except Allah, He is One, He has no partner. Sovereignty belongs to Him, and all praise is for Him, and He has power over everything. O Allah! No one can withhold what You give, and no one can give what You withhold, and the status of any person of status is of no benefit against Your will." This narration is also transmitted with another chain from Sayyiduna Mughirah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in a similar manner.
