Hadith 2005
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ وَرَّادٍ ، قَالَ : كَتَبَ مُعَاوِيَةُ إِلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ : أَيُّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا انْصَرَفَ مِنَ الصَّلاةِ ؟ قَالَ : كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاتِهِ : " لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ، اللَّهُمَّ لا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ ، وَلا مُعْطِي لِمَا مَنَعْتَ ، وَلا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ " .
Warrad narrates: Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote a letter to Sayyiduna Mughirah (may Allah be pleased with him), asking: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer, what would he recite? Sayyiduna Mughirah (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite after every prayer: "There is no deity except Allah. He is the One and Only. He has no partner. Sovereignty belongs to Him, and all praise is for Him, and He has power over all things. O Allah! None can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the wealth of the wealthy does not avail against Your will."
