Hadith 1984
أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الْقَطَّانُ ، بِوَاسِطٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ خُفَافِ بْنِ رَحَضَةَ الْغِفَارِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ خُفَافٍ ، قَالَ : رَكَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الصَّلاةِ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ ، فَقَالَ : " غِفَارٌ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهَا ، وَأَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللَّهُ ، وَعُصَيَّةُ عَصَتِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهِ ، اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ بَنِي لِحْيَانَ ، اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ رِعْلا ، وَذَكْوَانَ " ، ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ ، وَوَقَعَ سَاجِدًا . قَالَ : فَجَعَلَ لَعْنَةَ الْكَفَرَةِ مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ .
Harith bin Khafaf Ghafari narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Khafaf (may Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) went into bowing during prayer, then he raised his head and said: "May Allah forgive the tribe of Ghifar, may Allah keep the tribe of Aslam safe, the tribe of 'Usayyah has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger. O Allah! Curse the tribe of Banu Lihyan, O Allah! Curse the tribes of Ri'l and Dhakwan." Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would say takbeer and go into prostration. The narrator states that cursing the disbelievers was done for this reason.
