Hadith 1944
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا تَشَهَّدَ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُسْرَى ، وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى ، وَأَشَارَ بِأُصْبُعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ لا يُجَاوِزُ بَصَرُهُ إِشَارَتَهُ " .
Aamir bin Abdullah narrates from his father: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sat in Tashahhud, he would place his left hand on his left knee and his right hand on his right knee. He would gesture with his index finger, and his gaze would not go beyond his gesture.
