Hadith 1935
Abu Qilabah narrates: Sayyiduna Malik bin Huwairith (may Allah be pleased with him) came to us in our mosque. He said: I am about to perform prayer. My intention is not to perform prayer, but rather my intention is to teach you how the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform prayer. He stated this: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would raise his head after the (second) prostration in the first rak'ah, he would first sit straight, then he would stand up by taking support from the ground.
