Chapter on the Manner of Prayer – Report refuting the claim that only Amr ibn Dinar narrated this
Hadith 1924
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ ، وَأَنْ لا أَكُفَّ شَعْرًا ، وَلا ثَوْبًا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been commanded to prostrate on seven bones, and I should not fold hair or clothes (during prayer)."
