Hadith 1900
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) lifted the curtain and saw that the people were standing in rows behind Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O people! Of the glad tidings of Prophethood, only true dreams remain, which a Muslim sees or which are shown to him. Then he said: Beware! I have been forbidden from reciting (Qur'an) in the state of bowing (ruku') or prostration (sajdah). As for bowing, glorify your Lord in it, and as for prostration, make supplication therein with earnestness. It is worthy that it will be answered for you.
