Hadith 1896
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) lifted the curtain. The people were standing in rows behind Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O people! Of the glad tidings of Prophethood, now only true dreams remain, which a Muslim sees or which are shown to him. Then he said: Beware, I have been forbidden from reciting (Qur'an) during bowing (ruku') or prostration (sajdah). As for bowing, then in it, declare the greatness of your Lord, and as for prostration, then in it, supplicate earnestly, for it is more likely that your supplication will be answered.
