Hadith 1888
أَخْبَرَنَا الْقَطَّانُ ، بِالرَّقَّةِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي الْعِشْرِينَ ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَسْوَأُ النَّاسِ سَرَقَةً الَّذِي يَسْرِقُ صَلاتَهُ " . قَالَ : وَكَيْفَ يَسْرِقُ صَلاتَهُ ؟ قَالَ : " لا يُتِمُّ رُكُوعَهَا ، وَلا سُجُودَهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The worst thief among people is the one who steals from his prayer." They asked: How does he steal from his prayer? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He does not perform its bowing (ruku') and its prostration (sujud) completely."
