Hadith 1834
أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ الْقَطَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَدِمْتُ فِي فِدَاءِ أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ ، " فَسَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ الْمَغْرِبَ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ : " وَالطُّورِ . وَكِتَابٍ مَسْطُورٍ سورة الطور آية 1 - 2 " .
Muhammad bin Jubair narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut'im): I came regarding the ransom of the people of Badr. I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) at that time; he was leading the people in the Maghrib prayer, and he was reciting Surah At-Tur.
