Hadith 1805
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ حُجْرًا أَبَا الْعَنْبَسِ ، يَقُولُ : حَدَّثَنِي عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ ، أَنَّهُ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " فَوَضَعَ الْيَدَ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيَدِ الْيُسْرَى ، فَلَمَّا قَالَ : " وَلا الضَّالِّينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 7 " ، قَالَ : آمِينَ ، وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he performed prayer behind the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed his right blessed hand over his left blessed hand. When he said «ولا الضالین», he said Ameen. At the end of the prayer, he turned (for salam) to his right side and to his left side (i.e., twice).
