Hadith 1751
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ ، عَنْ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، أَنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ مَيْمُونٍ حَدَّثَهُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سَهْلَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ كَانَ فِي مَسْجِدٍ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاةَ ، فَهُوَ فِي الصَّلاةِ " .
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d Sa’idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “Whoever remains in the mosque waiting for the prayer is considered to be in the state of prayer.”
