باب فضل الصلوات الخمس - ذكر إيجاب الجنة لمن أقام الصلاة وصام رمضان
Chapter on Virtue of the Five Prayers - Promise of Paradise for one who establishes prayer and fasts Ramadan.
Hadith 1747
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ هِلالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ، وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاةَ ، وَصَامَ رَمَضَانَ ، كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ ، هَاجَرَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، أَوْ جَلَسَ حَيْثُ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Whoever believes in Allah and His Messenger, establishes prayer, and fasts in Ramadan, it is incumbent upon Allah to admit him into Paradise, whether he migrated in the way of Allah or remained where his mother gave birth to him."
