Chapter on Virtue of the Five Prayers - Denial of entering Hell for one who prays Asr and Fajr.
Hadith 1738
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْقَطَّانُ ، بِالرَّقَّةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْقَطَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مِسْعَرُ بْنُ كِدَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لا يَلِجُ النَّارَ أَحَدٌ صَلَّى قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ ، وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا " . قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : أَبُو بَكْرٍ هَذَا هُوَ ابْنُ عُمَارَةَ بْنُ رُوَيْبَةَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، لأَبِيهِ صُحْبَةٌ ، وَاسْمُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ : كُنْيَتُهُ .
Abu Bakr bin Amarah narrates from his father: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "A person who performs the prayer before sunrise and the prayer before sunset will not enter Hell." (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The narrator named Abu Bakr is the son of Sayyiduna Amarah bin Ruwaybah, whose father had the honor of being a Companion. The narrator named Abu Bakr's kunyah is actually his name.
