Chapter on Conditions of Prayer - The time when the Prophet prayed the five prayers with one ablution.
Hadith 1707
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفِيانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفِيانَ ، عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَتَوَضَّأُ لِكُلِّ صَلاةٍ ، فَلَمْا كَانَ يَوْمُ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ صَلَّى الصَّلَوَاتِ كُلَّهَا بِوَضُوءٍ وَاحِدٍ " .
Ibn Buraidah narrates from his father: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to perform ablution for every prayer. When the day of the conquest of Makkah came, he performed all the prayers with a single ablution.
