Chapter on Conditions of Prayer - The third specification restricting the Prophet’s statement "The earth was made a mosque."
Hadith 1700
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا لَمْ تَجِدُوا إِلا مَرَابِضَ الْغَنَمِ ، وَمَعَاطِنَ الإِبِلِ ، فَصَلُّوا فِي مَرَابِضِ الْغَنَمِ ، وَلا تُصَلُّوا فِي أَعْطَانِ الإِبِلِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "When you find only a sheep pen or a camel pen (as a place) to perform prayer, then perform prayer in the sheep pen, but do not perform prayer in the camel pen."
Hadith 1701

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "When you find only a sheep pen or a camel pen (as a place) to perform prayer, then perform prayer in the sheep pen, but do not perform prayer in the camel pen."
