باب الأذان - ذكر إثبات طعم الإيمان لمن قال ما وصفنا عند الأذان يسمعه معتقدا لما يقول
Chapter on Adhan - Affirmation of the taste of faith for one who says what is described upon hearing the adhan, believing in it.
Hadith 1694
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفِيانَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " ذَاقَ طَعْمَ الإِيمَانِ مَنْ رَضِيَ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا ، وَبِالإِسْلامِ دِينًا ، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيًّا " .
Sayyiduna Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: He heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "He has tasted the sweetness of faith who is pleased with Allah as his Lord, Islam as his religion, and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) as his Prophet."
