Chapter on Adhan - Clarification that Allah forgives and admits the muezzin to Paradise if he calls with certainty.
Hadith 1667
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَمْ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الأَشَجِّ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الدُّؤَلِيِّ ، أَنَّ النَّضْرَ بْنَ سُفِيانَ الدُّؤَلِيَّ ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِتَلَعَاتِ النَّخْلِ ، فَقَامَ بِلالٌ يُنَادِي ، فَلَمْا سَكَتَ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قَالَ مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ هَذَا يَقِينًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) near a cluster of date palms. Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and began to give the adhan. When he finished, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever says the same words with certainty that he has said, that person will enter Paradise."
