Chapter on Mosques - Report apparently contradicting the previously mentioned action.
Hadith 1631
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْكَلاعِيُّ ، بِحِمْصَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، وأبي سلمة ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّمَا الرِّحْلَةُ إِلَى ثَلاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ : إِلَى مَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ ، وَمَسْجِدِكُمْ هَذَا ، وَإِيلِيَاءَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A journey should be undertaken only towards three mosques: Al-Masjid Al-Haram, this mosque of mine, and the mosque of Al-Aqsa (i.e., Bayt Al-Maqdis)."
