باب المساجد - ذكر خبر أوهم عالما من الناس أن شد المرء الرحلة إلى مسجد غير المساجد الثلاث التي ذكرناها غير جائز
Chapter on Mosques - Report that might mislead some into thinking traveling to other than the three mosques is not allowed.
Hadith 1619
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلا إِلَى ثَلاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ ، مَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ ، وَمَسْجِدِي هَذَا ، وَالْمَسْجِدِ الأَقْصَى " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Journeys should only be undertaken towards three mosques: Al-Masjid Al-Haram, this mosque of mine, and Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa."
