Chapter on Mosques - Clarification that the Prophet did not mean to exclude other mosques by the mentioned number.
Hadith 1617
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفِيانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ قَزَعَةَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تُشَدُّ الرِّحَالُ إِلا إِلَى ثَلاثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ : الْمَسْجِدُ الْحَرَامُ ، وَالْمَسْجِدُ الأَقْصَى ، وَمَسْجِدِي هَذَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Journeys should only be undertaken towards three mosques: Al-Masjid Al-Haram, Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, and this mosque of mine."
