Hadith 1603
Amr bin Dinar narrates: He heard Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) saying: When the Ka'bah was being constructed, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) were carrying stones. Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): "Place your waistcloth on your shoulder so that you may be protected from the stones." The narrator says the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did so, and then he fell to the ground. His eyes turned towards the sky, then he stood up and said: "My waistcloth, my waistcloth." Then he tied his waistcloth around himself.
