Chapter on Combining Two Prayers
Hadith 1590
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلَمْ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ ، وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ فِي السَّفَرِ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the Zuhr and Asr prayers together, and the Maghrib and Isha prayers together during a journey.
