Hadith 1568
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ الصَّلاةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ ، فَقَالَتْ : صَلِّ ، إِنَّمَا إِنَّمَا " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الصَّلاةِ إِذَا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ " .
Miqdam bin Shuraih narrates from his father: I asked Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about performing prayer after Asr, so she said: You may perform the prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade performing prayer at the time when the sun is rising.
