Hadith 1551
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفِيانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْفَرَّاءُ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : " ثَلاثُ سَاعَاتٍ كَانَ يَنْهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ فِيهِنَّ أَوْ نَقْبُرَ فِيهِنَّ مَوْتَانَا : حِينَ تَطْلُعُ الشَّمْسُ بَازِغَةً حَتَّى تَرْتَفِعَ ، وَحِينَ يَقُومُ قَائِمُ الظَّهِيرَةِ حَتَّى تَمِيلَ الشَّمْسُ ، وَحِينَ تَصَوَّبُ الشَّمْسُ لِغُرُوبِهَا " .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: There are three times in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from performing prayer and burying the dead: at the time when the sun is rising until it becomes high, at the time when it is at its zenith until it declines, and at the time when the sun is about to set.
