Hadith 1541
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفِيانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفِيانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمْةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لا تَغْلِبَنَّكُمُ الأَعْرَابُ عَلَى اسْمِ صَلاتِكُمُ الْعِشَاءِ ، يُسَمُّونَهَا الْعَتَمَةَ لإِعْتَامِ الإِبِلِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): "Do not let the Bedouins overpower you regarding the name of the Isha prayer; they call it 'Atamah', because they delay it due to (taking care of) their camels."
