Hadith 1508
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ بَيَانَ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، بِالْهَاجِرَةِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلاةِ ، فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فِيحِ جَهَنَّمَ " . قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ إِسْحَاقُ الأَزْرَقُ .
Sayyiduna Mughira bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We were with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at noon. He said: Perform the prayer at a cooler time, for the severity of heat is part of the heat of Hell. (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) In narrating this report, the narrator Ishaq Azraq is unique.
