Hadith 1465
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ ، بِدِمَشْقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَتْنِي كَرِيمَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَسْحَاسِ الْمُزَنِيَّةُ ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ وَهُوَ فِي بَيْتِ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " ثَلاثٌ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ بِاللَّهِ : شَقُّ الْجَيْبِ ، وَالنِّيَاحَةُ ، وَالطَّعْنُ فِي النَّسَبِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) was present in the house of Sayyidah Umm Darda (may Allah be pleased with her). She narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Three things are equivalent to disbelief in Allah: tearing the collar (of one's garment) while lamenting, wailing, and casting aspersions on someone's lineage."
