Hadith 1439
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَجْعَلِ الْمَاءَ فِي أَنْفِهِ ، ثُمَّ لِيَنْثِرْ ، وَمَنِ اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيُوتِرْ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "When a person performs ablution, he should rinse his nose with water and clean it, and whoever uses stones (for cleaning), he should do so in an odd number."
