Menstruation and irregular bleeding: Command for menstruating women to wear a wrap before intimacy
Hadith 1367
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفِيانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَأْمُرُ إِحْدَانَا إِذَا كَانَتْ حَائِضًا أَنْ تَتَّزِرَ ، ثُمَّ يُبَاشِرُهَا " .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to instruct any one of us (his noble wives) that if she was in the state of menstruation, she should tie a waist-wrapper, and then he would have intimacy with that woman.
