Hadith 1361
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفِيانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلادٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمَقْدَامُ بْنُ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " إِنْ كُنْتُ لآتِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالإِنَاءِ ، فَآخُذُهُ فَأَشْرَبُ مِنْهُ ، فِيأْخُذُ ، فِيضَعُ فَاهُ مَوْضِعَ فِي فِيشْرَبُ ، وَإِنْ كُنْتُ لآخُذُ الْعَرْقَ مِنَ اللَّحْمِ فَآكُلُهُ ، فِيضَعُ فَاهُ عَلَى مَوْضِعِ فِي فِيأْكُلُهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I would bring a vessel to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). I would drink from it, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) would take it and place his mouth at the spot where I had placed my mouth and drink from it. Similarly, I would take a bone with meat on it and eat from it, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) would place his mouth at the spot where I had placed my mouth and eat from it, even though I would be in a state of menstruation at that time.
