Chapter on Water – Prohibition of urinating in non-flowing water if it is less than two qullahs
Hadith 1250
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ أَنْ يُبَالَ فِي الْمَاءِ الرَّاكِدِ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this about the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade urinating in stagnant water.
