Hadith 1233
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَمْ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي هِلالٍ ، وَبُكَيْرَ بْنَ الأَشَجِّ ، حَدَّثَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ الِمَنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْغُسْلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى كُلِّ مُحْتَلَمْ ، وَالسِّوَاكُ ، وَأَنْ يَمَسَّ مِنَ الطِّيبِ مَا قَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ " . اللَّفْظُ لِسَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلالٍ .
Abdur Rahman bin Abu Saeed Khudri narrates from his father: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Taking a bath on Friday is obligatory for every adult, and using the miswak, and if he has it, applying perfume (is also obligatory)." These are the words of the narrator Saeed bin Abu Hilal.
