Hadith 1191
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : وَصَفَتْ عَائِشَةُ غُسْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ ثَلاثًا ، ثُمَّ يُفِيضُ بِيَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى ، فَيَغْسِلُ فَرْجَهُ وَمَا أَصَابَهُ ، ثُمَّ يُمَضْمِضُ وَيَسْتَنْشِقُ ثَلاثًا ، وَيَغْسِلُ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ ثَلاثًا ثَلاثًا ، ثُمَّ يُفِيضُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلاثًا ، ثُمَّ يَصُبُّ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ " .
Abu Salamah bin Abdur Rahman narrates: Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) described the method of the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) ritual bath after impurity. She said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to wash his hands three times, pour water with his right hand over his left hand, and wash whatever was on his private part. Then he would rinse his mouth three times, put water into his nose, then wash his arms and face three times each. Then he would pour water over his head. Then he would pour water over his entire body.
