Chapter on Ghusl – Obligation of ghusl after intercourse even if there is no ejaculation
Hadith 1181
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا سُئِلَتْ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُجَامِعُ ، فَلا يُنْزِلُ ، قَالَتْ : " فَعَلْتُ أَنَا ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَاغْتَسَلْنَا مِنْهُ جَمِيعًا " .
It is narrated about Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that she was asked about a person who has intercourse but does not ejaculate. Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) replied: I and the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) also used to do this, and in such a case, we would perform ghusl (ritual bath).
