Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) eat food cooked on fire. He performed the prayer before renewing his ablution. After the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I saw Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) eat something cooked on fire, then perform the prayer before renewing his ablution. Then after Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), I saw Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) eat something cooked on fire and he did not renew his ablution and performed the prayer.
