Chapter on the Nullifiers of Ablution - Report indicating that touching unmarriageable relatives does not require ablution
Hadith 1109
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ : " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ زَيْنَبَ ابْنَتِهِ ، فَكَانَ إِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا ، وَإِذَا سَجَدَ وَضَعَهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform prayer while carrying Sayyidah Umamah (may Allah be pleased with her), who was the granddaughter of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would stand, he would pick her up. When he would go into prostration, he would put her down to one side (i.e., make her stand).
