Chapter on the Virtue of Ablution - Clarification that the ablution marks on Judgment Day are unique to this nation, even though previous nations performed ablution
Hadith 1048
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الأَشْجَعِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تَرِدُونَ غُرًّا مُحَجَّلِينَ مِنَ الْوُضُوءِ سِيمَا أُمَّتِي لَيْسَ لأَحَدٍ غَيْرِهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will come with radiant foreheads due to ablution; this will be a distinctive sign of my Ummah. It will not be for anyone other than them."
