Chapter on the Virtue of Ablution - Description of this nation’s marks from ablution on Judgment Day
Hadith 1047
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا كَامِلُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ زِرٍّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، كَيْفَ تَعْرِفُ مَنْ لَمْ تَرَ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ ؟ قَالَ : " غُرٌّ مُحَجَّلُونَ بُلْقٌ مِنْ آثَارِ الطُّهُورِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The people asked, "O Messenger of Allah! How will you recognize those individuals of your Ummah whom you have not seen?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "They will have radiant foreheads due to the effects of ablution."
