Hadith 1007
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقَطَّانُ ، بِالرَّقَّةِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ مَرْوَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " الرِّيحُ مِنْ رَوْحِ اللَّهِ تَأْتِي بِالرَّحْمَةِ ، وَتَأْتِي بِالْعَذَابِ ، فَلا تَسُبُّوهَا ، وَسَلُوا اللَّهَ خَيْرَهَا ، وَاسْتَعِيذُوا مِنْ شَرِّهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "The wind comes from Allah Almighty, it brings mercy and it also brings punishment, so do not speak ill of it. Ask Allah Almighty for its goodness and seek refuge (with Allah Almighty) from its evil."
