Hadith 1006
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْيَرْبُوعِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَأَى فِي السَّمَاءِ غُبَارًا أَوْ رِيحًا تَعَوَّذَ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّهِ ، فَإِذَا أَمْطَرَتْ ، قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Whenever the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saw dust in the sky (i.e., a storm) or wind, he would seek refuge with Allah from its evil. (But) when it rained, he would say: "O Allah! Let it be heavy and beneficial."
