Hadith 948
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْمُعَلِّمُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي طَلِيقُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُو ، فَيَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي وَلا تُعِنْ عَلَيَّ ، وَانْصُرْنِي وَلا تَنَصُرْ عَلَيَّ ، وَامْكُرْ لِي وَلا تَمْكُرْ عَلَيَّ ، وَاهْدِنِي وَيَسِّرْ لِيَ الْهُدَى ، وَانْصُرْنِي عَلَى مَنْ بَغَى عَلَيَّ ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي لَكَ شَكَّارًا ، لَكَ ذَكَّارًا ، لَكَ مِطْوَاعًا ، إِلَيْكَ مُخْبِتًا ، لَكَ أَوَّاهًا مُنِيبًا . رَبِّ اقْبَلْ تَوْبَتِي ، وَاغْسِلْ حَوْبَتِي ، وَثَبِّتْ حُجَّتِي ، وَسَدِّدْ لِسَانِي ، وَاسْلُلْ سَخِيمَةَ قَلْبِي " . قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ أَبُو صَالِحٍ مَا . حَدَّثَنَا عَنْهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى إِلا هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say while supplicating: "O Allah! Help me and do not help against me, support me and do not support against me, plan for me and do not plan against me, guide me and make guidance easy for me, and help me against the one who transgresses against me. O Allah! Make me one who is most grateful to You, who remembers You much, who is most obedient to You, who turns to You often, and who is most submissive to You. O my Lord! Accept my repentance, wash away my sins, establish my proof, make my tongue truthful, and remove the diseases of my heart."
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) Imam Abu Ya’la narrated this hadith to us only from Muhammad bin Yahya bin Sa’eed Abu Salih.
