Chapter on Supplications – Explaining that sending prayers upon the Prophet in supplication counts as charity when unable to do more
1 hadith
Hadith 903
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "If any Muslim does not have anything to give in charity, then he should make this supplication: 'O Allah! Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is Your servant and Messenger. Send blessings upon him, and send blessings upon the believing men and believing women, and upon the Muslim men and Muslim women.' This will be considered as zakat." The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A believer is never satisfied with doing good until his abode is Paradise."
